Commitment to Community is in their “Corporate DNA”
SDLC Partners, and its cybersecurity spin-off CyLumena, announce that they have been selected as a 2019 Corporate Citizenship Award winner by the Pittsburgh Business Times. The downtown business, technology, and cybersecurity powerhouse was selected by a panel of independent judges because of the organization’s outstanding philanthropic contributions and collaborative relationships with nonprofits, civic, or governmental organizations.
Scott Barnyak, Chief Marketing Officer and co-founder of SDLC Partners and CyLumena, shares
“It’s an honor to be recognized by the Pittsburgh Business Times. Giving back is in our corporate DNA. We will always provide ways for our employees within SDLC Partners and CyLumena to support community organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters, as well as organizations that our employees suggest to us.”
Chris Dinnin, Managing Director of CyLumena, shares in Scott’s excitement,
“We are committed to recruiting and hiring the best from the Pittsburgh region and beyond. One way that we attract like-valued individuals is through our commitment to community, providing corporate sponsorship, and providing opportunities to give back.”
In addition to Big Brothers Big Sisters, SDLC Partners and CyLumena helped develop and facilitate a two-week STEM summer camp geared towards middle school students, and hosts an annual Hackathon where regional secondary and graduate students work with SDLC and CyLumena employees to create technology solutions to relevant problems.
A luncheon on October 11, 2019 will honor all award winners, including SDLC Partners and CyLumena, as well as showcase one of the non-profit organizations that SDLC supports.
