SDLC Partners, a business and technology consulting firm, is pleased to announce that it celebrated its 10th anniversary on November 18, 2014. SDLC opened its doors in 2004 as a five employee start-up. Today, the organization employs over 300 professionals in two locations, with a third location currently being considered.
The company’s founders, Chris Simchick, Scott Barnyak, and Christy Maruca, are thrilled by this accomplishment. Barnyak expresses the collective sentiment of the founders when he states “It is rewarding to see our idea grow into something that has enabled us to make an impact. We started the company with the goal of becoming the Execution Partner of Choice by delivering quality work and solving our client’s most complex problems. Ten years later we continue to stand by that commitment, which has resulted in longstanding client relationships and continued growth”.
SDLC has not only made an impact with clients over the years, but has also impacted the Pittsburgh community. In addition to growing hundreds of jobs throughout Pittsburgh, the firm has impacted the region through an employee-led community service committee, SDLC Connects. Through this committee, employees volunteer, fundraise, and run to support regional charities and non-profits.
Chris Simchick best summarizes the future plans of SDLC when he states, “The journey has been an exciting one, and one in which we plan to celebrate. We will continue to focus on growing the company and being the Execution Partner of Choice so we can ensure our success over the next 10 years”.
